Formed a gethering of artists & people who is interested on India under the name of ‘India Club’

Countless number of lecture, seminar, exhibition & public meetings of various  field on India to Korean had been organized under the banner of India Club

Registered the India Club as the Indo-Korean Foundation with the Foreign Ministry of Korea

2006~

2008  

 

Initiated the process of establishing sister state relations between Gyeong-Gi Do  of Korea and Mahrashtra. The MoU for the same was signed in Mumbai by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and the Governor of Gyeong-Gi Do. Also initiated sister city relations between Po-Cheon city & Jaipur as well as with Gwang-Ju Metro city & Bangaluru. This matter is now at an advanced stage and this union should be announced in the very near future.
We are now in the process of creating similar relations between one of the Northern sates of Korea and Jammu and Kashmir state.

Organize a music concert - A group of four Baul singers-traditional singers of West Bengal, at Jeon-Ju city

Organize a combined seminar in India International Centre, New Delhi - "India in Korean Literature & Indian Literature of Today"

Organizing a number of music concerts by Sitar (Ustad Usman Khan) & Sennai(Gaikwad Pramod Prabhakar) concerts at various places in  Korea

Group of people who love Indian Movie (Bollywood films) came back to the banner of Indo-Korean Foundation / www.indiamovie.kr  (Bollywood Lovers)

 

Dec.

20th, Organizing a Indian film show at Indian Embassy for Korean. – Becomes annual film show at every Saturday of each month.

2009

Feb.-Mar.

Chief Vision Director C.K.Chung visits various cities of  India  over invitation of Ministry of Culture & Tourism.

 

Mar.

One of biggest major film distributor of India, Shermaroo appointed IKF as it’s representative of Korea to promote Indian movie to Korea.

 

June

05, 06th – Host an Odissi Dance performance Ms. Keum Vitna  at Seoul

 

Aug.

3rd – Will host 2nd seminar on Art & literature in New Delhi with IIC (India International Centre)

 

15th – Will host a celebrate festival of Independence Day with Indian Embassy in Korea atSeoul
