Purpose: Divinity and Salvation are the most traditional topics of literature. Literature is a quest for conditions of human existence, and if dreaming beyond the quest, literature’s ultimate purposes are the embodiment of divinity and pursuit of salvation. Through this question, a fundamental topic, one will see a common interest among literary scholars of Korea and India and their various attitudes for those interests.

Part 1 (10:00~11:30)
Opening event and keynote address
● Opening address by Mr. Kim Tae-Hyung (poet, president of Korean Artists for India)
● Greetings: Current Korean Ambassador to India(planned), Current Indian Ambassador to Korea(message, planned) Present of IIC(planned), C.K.Chung (Chief Vision Director of Indo-Korean Foundation)
● Prominent beginning by Kim Choon Sik (Literary critic, Professor at Dong Guk University)

● Keynote address by Mr. K.T.Ravindran
Architect, President of In-Ko Foundation. Professor & head of Urban Design at School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. Chairman of Delhi Urban Art Commission, Member of Advisory Board of United Nations Capital Master Plan (appointed by Secretary General Mr. Ban Ki Moon at Jan. 2010)

“What is the ‘salvation’ Korean fiction strives for?”

●Topic 2 – Ms. Rukmini B. Nair(Poet, professor, critic)
